Case

On the behalf of a 56 year old woman who slipped and fell on ice while working for the NFTA. During her shift, she slipped on an untreated area of ice under a bus shelter. The fall caused a torn rotator cuff. She underwent surgery to repair the injury but had significant complications. After a week long jury trial, an Erie County jury decided in our favor holding the shopping plaza 90% responsible for failing to maintain the area. Following trial, we settled the case in the amount of $ 700,000.00.
